On Good Friday, remembering the day of Jesus' death, the Uhuru Highway Lutheran Cathedral celebrate a joined service English-Swahili, at 10:00pm. The Swahili Choir lead the processional in the beginning of the service. The hymns were sung in both languages, some lectures were done in English and others in Swahili; the Gospel was read in both languages; and the sermon was translated from English to Swahili. So we celebrated the sacrifice of Jesus for us, assuring all that the way to God is now open through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.(This series of GOOD FRIDAY has seven(7) pictures and comments; after this we will share our EASTER/ABLAZE celebration!)
